Michigan Expanded Access to Safe, Effective COVID-19 Vaccine to Michiganders Ages 16 and Older with Medical Conditions, Disabilities Starting March 22 (See press release HERE).  Parents/Caregivers of Children with Special Needs are also able to access the vaccine.


All individuals living or working in Allegan County and interested in receiving the COVID-19 vaccine should sign up through the “I Want the COVID-19 Vaccine” form on www.allegancounty.org/covid or call 2-1-1. Once ACHD has vaccine available for the individuals, they will receive notification from ACHD on scheduling an appointment.  If you would like assistance with completing the vaccine form please give The Arc a call at 269-673-8841.  We can assist you completing the form.  You can also call 2-1-1 who can walk you through the form by phone.  Transportation to a vaccine appointment is provided by ACT if needed.  Once you have received your vaccine appointment time, call ACT at 269-673-4229 to schedule a ride.

ACHD encourages eligible people to register at all the places that offer vaccine to them. If you get an appointment at one of these other clinics, please email covidvaccine@allegancounty.org so they can take your name off their registry. Individuals in need of assistance can call 2-1-1 to provide their information.
